With the aim of promoting the extent and quality of academic research carried out at the institutions, the research awards were presented last thursday, October 12th, in the auditorium of the Quinta do Bom Nome campus, to the lecturers of Universidade Europeia (UE) and IPAM, distinguishing the best articles and projects by the lecturers of the institutions.
Hélia Gonçalves Pereira, rector of UE, kicked off the ceremony by pointing out the importance of distinctions like these for the recognition and notoriety of the institutions, while also encouraging the academic community to continue investing in research and the development of scientific projects.
For Marta Bicho, director of IPAM Lisboa, this moment is the result of the continuous and hard work of the professors and researchers who make up the teaching staff of both institutions.
The session was also attended by Annette Klinkert, CEO of City2Sciente, a specialist in developing academic partnerships and attracting resources and investment funds. The researcher took the floor to offer some guidance to teachers who want to attract competitive funding for their projects.
