Serving a diverse academic community of 83,000 students and 9,000 staff members, ChallengeEU is dedicated to dismantling outdated academic structures and creating an inclusive ecosystem where students play an active role in shaping the future. Christian Ramos
Head of Science management Office
Dr. Christian G. Ramos is a science manager and researcher, leading the ChallengeEU initiative at Universidade Europeia and coordinating the Science Management Office. With a PhD in Biotechnology from IST, Universidade de Lisboa, he has led and contributed to over 25 research projects, securing national and international funding. His research, spanning biotechnology, molecular biosciences, and neuroscience, has resulted in 30 peer-reviewed publications, including top-tier journals.
Lisa Roque
Assistant Professor / Coordinator of Research in Health Sciences
Dr. Lisa Roque is an Assistant Professor and Research Coordinator at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Universidade Europeia. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from ISPA – Instituto Universitário and was a PhD researcher at Católica Lisbon – School of Business & Economics until 2023, where she was part of the Leadership Lab, focusing on organizational behavior, emotion regulation in the workplace, and emotional flexibility in leaders.
